This is a slightly modified entry I wrote in my lj today, among other things. Figured some of you might enjoy it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, feel free to check out the links given. This is really cool, if you know how to do it right. the only thing is that sometimes, the people have no clue what's going on and may get upset.
Opa! Remember how I told you I loved the Salmon bot and wish I could get it more often? Well, it's gone now but looks like it's been replaced with a Trout bot, which does the same thing. check out the Wiki for The Great Hatsby

which explains a similar bot (no longer working) as well as the Salmon and Trout ones. There's even a site for connecting you with one of the latter.

You have to type in a name, say confusedtrout, and you're connected with someone who has it but as I said, they may not be aware you did this, since this isn't a traditional social networking site. there's also a journal, supposedly by the creator of the Salmon bot
